So I’m a couch potato. I’ll admit it, I’m lazy. If I don’t have to move, I don’t move. Why? Because lets face it’s a hell of a lot easier to sit in the chair than it is to move!
So I’m attempting to get healthy. The whole walk thing started because we had no gas and my husband needed something at the gas station. So our first walk was a mile there and a mile back, because, we had too. Since that time we’ve continued to walk (not every day, but most days) and we’re up to three miles in about 45 minutes!
We’ve been doing some cardio exercises at home as well. Go on youtube type in cardio exercises for beginners — start there.
I’ve also been counting calories. Go to http://www.myfitnesspal.com and get started. It’s easy to use and available on all your devices for free! (from what I hear maybe not so easy on iphones).
My friend and I read an article yesterday about drinking water. We all know we’re supposed to drink 8 glasses of water a day, most of us don’t drink half of that. Anyway, I started today drinking a gallon of water a day. I’ll try and keep you updated about my progress. Hell maybe I’ll even write a book about it one day that won’t sell (ha ha!)
